Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Whites, Utica." 
 
This is the work of Nicholas White and his sons, William and Charles who ran the Whites of Utica family pottery from 1865-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 70-71). 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Cobalt Orchid with Leaves, Blossom, and Buds.  Stands 10 3/4" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition. A 3/4" chip on the right side of the spout (closeup), and two 1/4" chips at the base.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A kiln touch and clay void on the left side in the making.
