Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jar made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).  
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, Top to Bottom Decoration, and Impeccable Condition.  From the top down are two straight stripes framing the rim, a wavy stripe flowing across the shoulder, the company advertising surrounding a floral garland, a freehand capacity number flanked by leaves, and a broad stripe at the bottom completing the decoration.  Additional cobalt at the handle terminals.  Complete and crisp stenciling.  Stands 14 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Wear inside the rim and on the handle terminals, and some scattered staining.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
