    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fabulous 1 Gallon Pitcher made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."

     

    This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).

     

    This beauty features the Classic Pitcher Form with Tall Neck, Tooled Shoulder, and Bulbous Base. It is also Decorated in Rich Cobalt from Top to Bottom.  A stripe outlines the rim, three columns of vertical dashes highlight the neck, another stripe, two stripes adorn the shoulder, the company advertising surrounding a floral sprig bedeck the body, and a final stripe at the base completes the decoration.  Stands 11" tall. 

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 3/4" chip inside the rim, a 1 1/4" chip on top of the rim in the back by a 1/2" chip above the handle, and some small and light stains.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
