Item 7818
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this handsome 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Pitcher.
The decoration on this pitcher makes it is easy to attribute to William and Charles Wingender of Haddonfield, N.J. They ran the pottery in Haddonfield from 1883 to 1923. This is an earlier work as its salt glaze and cobalt brushed decoration attest.
This beauty features a Tall Neck with Pinched Spout, Ringed Shoulder, Bulbous and Tapered Body, Footer, and Brushed Dangling Floral Decoration. This was one of Wingender's signature decorations. Stands 8 3/4" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A partial stone ping to the left of the handle in the making (closeup).
