Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 7 1/4" Yellow Ware Fruit Jar.
 
You can see a very similar piece in Lisa S. McAllister and John L Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware , Book 1, p 81.
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features a Carefully Tooled Rim, Tall Neck with Embossed Shoulder Ring, and Warm Yellow Coloration.  Stands 7 1/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Very faint staining around the rim, mainly inside. That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Three faint and adjacent steam runs in the glaze on one side in the making.
