    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Butter Crock. It was part of the "Dandy Line" of the Brush McCoy Company in Zanesville, Ohio.

     

    Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features Three White Slip Bands around the Middle with "Butter" Prominently Displayed. Measures 4 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide.

     

    This piece is pictured in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I, on p. 83.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Some light staining, but no chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Typical manufacturing imperfections.
