Ready to impress your stoneware friends is this gorgeous Yellow Ware Green and Cream Butter Crock with Lid in the Daisy and Waffle Pattern.
It was made by the Hull Pottery in the early 20th century. This crock is discussed in Terry Taylor and Terry & Kay Lowrance, Collector's Encyclopedia of Salt Glaze Stoneware, pp. 111-112.
This beauty features a Trellis Background that Hosts Four Daisies under a Rippled Border. The lid repeats the trellis background. Green and Cream coloration. Measures 4 3/8" tall and 6 3/8" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. The base has light staining inside from use. No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. The lid has some pinhead-size minor nibbles on the bottom of the outer edge. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
