Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Food Mold with Recumbant Lion. 
 
This mold is stamped on the bottom, "Hoganas", a Swedish firm that worked from 1840-1870.  Their work is known for few impurities and great color.  
 
You can see a similar lion in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware , Book I, p. 89.
 
Dating to the mid 19th century, this mold features a Recumbant Lion, One of the Most Desirable Food Mold Patterns.  Measures 9" long, 6 1/2" wide, 3 1/4" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  Eight small chips around the rim (3/16" to pinhead size).  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
