Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic Yellow Ware Pitcher with a Multi-Colored Glaze.
It has a paper label on the bottom that says, "Made by Elizabeth Channon, 1916." Her initials are incised on the bottom as well. I was surprised when I read this label because the craftsmanship is so professional! Flawless execution of form and coloration.
This pitchers shows the influence of the Decorative Arts Movements (arts décoratifs) of the early 20th century that became Art Deco in the 1920's and 1930's.
This beauty features Angular, yet Graceful Lines with a Flow Glaze in Hues of Blue and Green. Measures 6" tall, 8" long, and 6 1/2" wide.
Excellent Condition. A few stray scratches. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
