Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous Yellow Ware Pitcher with Rockingham Drip Glaze.
Dating to the late 19th century, this Pitcher features a Bulbous Body with Tall and Flared Rim, Footer, Applied Handle, and a Strong Yellow Coloration with Rockingham Drips. Stands 8" tall.
An uncommon form and coloration for yellow ware.
Good Condition. Glaze wear inside at the bottom, a 3/4" chip inside the rim by the handle, two continguous hairlines from the rim on the side with handle pointing left (1/2", 1 1/2"), three contiguous flakes on the body on the side with the handle pointing right (1/8" to 1/4"), and a half-dozen very minor nibbles on the footer. No stains or restoration.
