Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Yellow Ware Figural Inkwell.
 
It was made by the Larkin Brothers of East Liverpool, Ohio.
 
Dating to the mid-19th century, this Inkwell is in the Form of a Young Man Reclining on a Couch.   It has a yellow background with Rockingham drip glaze.  Measures 5 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" deep, and 3 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Fine, light glaze crazing of age.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  An 1/8" tripod mark on the bottom of the footer in the making.
