Item 4773
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Yellow Ware Salt Crock.
Circa 1900, this beauty features Top and Bottom Double Rims, "Salt" Embossed in Fancy Letters, and Daubs of Rockingham Glaze Evenly Spaced Round the Borders. Measures 5 3/4" tall and wide across the base.
This is an uncommon salt crock and, if memory serves me correctly (which is sometimes does not!), this is the only one I have ever had to sell.
Excellent Condition. A couple minor pinhead-sized nibbles on the inner rim where a lid would sit. Otherwise as made.
